Duration and training program

3 days

The three days course is the perfect introduction to health and safety. It covers risk assessments and ways to control common workplace hazards such as fire, lifting and carrying, work equipment, electrical safety, hazardous substances and transport.

The course can be run in a number of flexible formats to fit around your business needs; either in-house or in our training center.

How is the course assessed?

The HSA1 unit is assessed through a candidate-completed workplace health and safety review. The assessment evaluates current management practices and identifies areas for improvement.

Learners must achieve the pass standard 45 out of 60 (75%) in this unit in order to pass the assessment and achieve the qualification.
